I met Raquel and her nine-month-old dreads at the Etsy Dallas Spring Bash craft fair. We got to talking about locks, and I found out she was waxing, which I encouraged her to immediately stop. She did some work to get it (mostly) out before our appointment. I blunted the ends, combined several dreads that had already congoed at the roots, did some minor root separation, and pulled in some loops.
